_ Lily vs. Julia Lily
Is Julia Lily an OK name? My sister’s name is Lily, and she is very dear to me, so I am going to use her name as a middle name for my child that is on the way. I love the name Julia, but with Lily, it doesn’t sound as nice. Any suggestions? My husband and I love Victorian names that pass today as alright, nothing like Beatrice or names of the sort. Please, help us. The baby is due in a few weeks and I don’t think I can take it if the baby comes without a first name! Thank you very much, James and Rose

Eloise is one of my favorite older fashioned names that is also modern in a way. Eloise Lilliana is very pretty.

Maybe a variation of Julia? Julianne or Julianna or Juliet (Juliette)? And for Lily you could play around with the longer version of Lillian if that sounds better.
Julianne Lily
Juliette Lillian
Lillian Julia
Lily Julianna
Some ideas anyway! I named my daughter Lillian - we call her Lily often. I love the name :)

I agree on making a longer version of the name Lily to flow better with Julia.
Julia Lilliana
Julia Lilybeth
Eloise is indeed also very pretty.
It’s easier to combine a name with Lily if that’s the fn like:
Lily Rosanne
Lily Carmen
Lily Sophia
Lily Catharine
Julia Lilliana
Julia Lilybeth
