List of girls vs. names

We want something a bit different but not a name that is over the top, out there or made up. We do love names likes Isabelle and Ava and Lily and so on but at the same time I don’t want to go with a name that is overused and extremely popular because I want my little girl to have her own personality and uniqueness. We have looked through some of the polls and the baby name books and have found a few that we like the sound of. We like names that have a classic feel or even an English or French origin. We just need some help with deciding and middle name suggestions (We can’t use Grace, Jade, Paige, Michelle or Louise for middle names) Thanks everyone, names will be in the first comments.

I think all of your names are quite pretty and individual. Just some advice names like Ada, Aurelia & Giselle are beginning to become popular now there have been a few polls on here lately with these names and I know of three people who have used the name Aurelia. Personally I think Charlize, Erica or even April sounds nice GL!

Love April and Charlize from your list, another name that came to mind when reading your intro was Elin (E-lyn) its Welsh meaning ’woman of intelligence’

You have a lot of nice names to choose from. My two favorite are Cicely and Aurora. I am beginning to see Aurora more on these polls, but I don’t think it’s overused by any means. Erica, April and Giselle are nice, too.

I love Chanel, as long as its pronounced right.
Poppy was on my list but I just couldn’t do it- so cute though. Even Penelope nn Poppy gives her something more formal.

Kara, cicely, and Sabrina (not Sabina) are my other faves.

I love Tess or Tessa, Camille, Corinne, and Cecille because they’re a little out of the ordinary but are easy to spell and pronounce and aren’t too weird.
