Length vs. of Names

OK, this may sound like a silly question so only crazy-obsessed name people like myself will answer. If you already had one daughter with a long name and one daughter with a short name, would it be OK to give a third daugther a long name too or would it make the daughter with the short name feel left out? Would it look weird on Christmas cards, etc.? Am I overthinking it and worrying about nothing?

It depends on what the name are...if they were for example: Carolina, Ann, & then Isabella... they yea I think it does look funny.

Who gives a [word removed] what it looks? You shouldn’t care what others think. If you like a name use it. I hate when people try to match their childrens names by giving them the same letter or making the name the same length. Just use the names you like.

No your child will not feel left out. You really are overthinking this. People are so obsessed with making their child fit in and not feel left out that they end picking names that they don’t like. Kids are not as fragile as they seem and they won’t be traumtized because their the only sister with a short name. I always read on this site people saying don’t give your kids names that start with the same letter or they won’t be indviduals which I think is extremely stupid. People really need to stop overthinking and worrying and pick a name they love for their child and that’s all that matters.

UR DEF OVER THINKING IT. ONE SHORT NAME AND TWO LONG NAMES WOULD NOT LOOK WEIRD.

Nothing to worry about.
Use the names you love.
I come from a family of 6 our names were all
over the place and none of us ever felt weird or left out because of our names.. there were two many other kid things and teen things to think about to really care what are names were.

Use the names you love and don’t over analize it.
My girls are called Emma, Isabella and Scarlett and never had a problem with it, in fact they love their names!
Your children will be happy to know you picked names you love and are meaningful instead of names that "looked good"
Good luck!
