I love Charlotte and Gwendolyn

I like Charlotte the best. Out of the others, I guess I would say Rebecca. I like Gwen but not Gwendolyn.

Nathan, Abigail, Benjamin, and Rebecca fit well because they are all Hebrew names. My parents chose Hebrew names for both my brother and I (we’re not Jewish or anything, my mom just loved the meanings and history behind them.) Madeline and Rebecca are great, but I prefer these spellings. What about Rebecca and Naomi, Rebecca and Rachel, Rebecca and Bethany, or Rebecca and Eliza or Elizabeth?

Rebecca has been the classic English spelling of the name for hundreds of years. It is also the better spelling if you don’t want your daughter’s name misspelled all the time. Rebecca happens to be the older spelling used in the ancient Latin Vulgate Bible from the 4th Century. Rebecca is also the spelling used in the English Bible in the New Testament (see Romans 9:10 KJV) The original name was in the Hebrew language, which does not use English letters.
