Name for vs. beach vs. baby

My husband and I are having a tough time finding a name for our baby girl who is due in May. Nothing seems to fit. We are looking for a more casual/relaxed type of name, but nothing too unusual or trendy. We live on the beach and are very active outdoors and would like something that fits us. Any ideas for first and/or middle names? Thanks all!

What about Marina? It means "of the sea"... I think that’s cute and sporty and fits in with the active lifestyle thing.

Hmm...I like Maddie. Is it short for something? My husband already said he doesn’t care for the more earthy names like Summer, Sky, etc., so I know those are out. Thanks so much for your suggestions!
