Is Isolde better vs. As a first or vs. Middle name?

I love the name Isolde (ee-zold) and even though my husband agreed to it hes not in love with it. So now im not sure if it should be her first or middle name. What are your thoughts? And any name suggestions would be amazing. We love more folklore/mythological/legendary names that can be used in modern day. Some names we like are Ravenna, Isolde, Briseis, Calypso, Megara, and Zipporah. Help!

I like it a lot. But then I love names from classic literature. I’d use it as a first name.

I like this name! The only problem is that many people will pn it iz-old which sounds like "is old" which is weird.
