how popular are some names really? every one says Hayden is popular for example I ve never met any haydens? Ive never met any Kaylees or mckenzies either? so how many children do you actually know with choices and which is best?

You can see the trends in schools. My brother teaches math and some years he has four Brittanys or three Katelyns in the same class. I personally know three Connors under the age of five.

I love Rory for a boy, but I like Rory Isaac or Rory Harrison better.

Yeah, I thnk the name trends will affect your child, not you. Like when they say Hayden is popular, they mean allot of poeple are naming theyre kids that, so you may not know any, but they will be in your kids daycare or class, so what may seem unique to you now, may turn out to be just the opposite.

Yeah. A definate trend this year is -ayden, so don’t call him jayden or there will be lots of other jaydens in his class.. and even if there arent, there would be kaydens haydens aidans and braydens. I like Shane the best, its underused and cute.

i wouldn’t go with rory because there is a lot of controversy over which gender it belongs too.

just look up the census studies on baby names.. there are zillions of haydens and mackenzies..etc.. i have a baby name book with popular names in it.. they’re all there in the top 10 for the past 4 years.
