And good names tend to get and stay popular.. nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, but who wants to be Sarah H or Sarah P or whatever for her entire school career? And throughout life, when someone says Sarah the person they’re talking to will say, "Which one?" It just doesn’t have much personality...both my kids have pretty common middle names that honor family members but their first names are underused older names stolen from the early 1900s. That way they’re not in a room with five other people by the same name (I’ve been that child, it stinks) but their name is still easy to spell/pronounce. I would use Sarah as a mn.

I like Sara spelled like that. I have no idea why but it just looks better to me. It is pretty popular and bland. Probably about 1 in every 50 girls born is a Sarah. It’s way behind these trendy names, though. Just still high in the charts. Maybe give her a not-so-boring mn?
