Just to clarify for boys Ariel is pronounced (Ari-el) not (Air-e-el). All of these names have been in the top 1,000 for boys.

Harper sounds like a nag to me (something her husband may use against her in later life lol. Ariel sounds [removed] y but Addison is gorgeous, why not Maddison so she has a chance at a good nn unless you can think of one that I haven’t thought of. GL

I’m not a fan of any of them really. But Ariel got my vote b/c it’s the one which hasn’t been poached off the boys’ list an used on girls as often or recently as the others. Personally I would continue to search some more.

Just realised this was posted for a son! SORRY :( Still like Addison, even more now! It can at least be shortened to Ad’s or Sonny. P.S. worse than a female nag is a male nag & Ariel is way toooo feminine to me.

I didn’t realize how many girls shared my son’s name until after he was born. I spent his first year second guessing our decision, especially when people were continually calling him she. Of course he suits his name now, and I would never change it--- Your names are great, just be prepared to correct people for a little while.

So what if they sound girly.. Hunter sounds all boy and the girls are using it..
If it is unisex that means it can be used for BOTH sexes not just girls.. (not that I think they sound feminine.)
I like Ariel personally and Addison second choice.

I know three women named |Ariel. Ariel is the name of the beautiful teenage girl in Footloose and in the tv series Medium. Your other choices I’m not sure about, but Ariel is definitely a woman to me.
