Hi. We started with 221 names, got down to 188, then to 95, then 43, and now we’re at 37. This is super hard, and it seems like it’s even harder now because we love the ones we have left. Our son is due September 2. Please help us. Please tell me what names on our list you like as well as those you don’t think flow well/sound good. Thanks so much, Kirsten

Thanks, but we don’t want any more suggestions. We definitely want one from our own list because it’s hard enough cutting names off; we don’t want to add any more. I suppose I should have said that in the initial poll.

10th poster,
We aren’t fond of using names of relatives (too many possible problems with hard feelings), so none are family names. None are after anyone else either. We just love the names and how they flow together. So, I guess the answer is no, except that they’re special in that we love them.

My husband and I wrote 20names down on a sheet o of paper, passed itback and forth, and took turns crossing out names until we narrowed it down to our top 3. When our son was born, it was easy to see he was an Ethan, not a Logan or Hudson. Good luck.

I agree- pick a first name THEN go to work in middles. Nathan Burke is the best, IMO.
