I like the spellings Emmerson or Emersyn better than Emerson. Emerson seems really boyish to me and your giving her girly middle names. Yuck. I like Emersyn Reese or Emmerson Reese the best.

Emerson is a MALE NAME NOT UNISEX! Spelling it weird doesn’t change that it’s meaning is SON of Emery.

Emerson IS a girl’s name! And it’s very cute. I don’t think Resse works as a mn because of all the "s" sounds, but I like the other two mns (voted for Abigail). nn Emmy, Emma, or Emery are all very nice for a girl too.

You people who get your panties in a twist over boys’ or girls’ names need to find a new hobby.

One of my best friend’s named her daughter Emerson and her nn is Emmy. The middle name Grace sounds gorgeous.

Well, Allison is a girl’s name and I think Emerson is a girl’s name too. I LIKE Emerson. Emery is a cute, adorable nn. Very creative and darling!
