Need Dorky vs. Boy names for story

I’m a writer. Always will be. And I’m writing this story for creative writing class. It’s about these two people who meet through mutual friends and they despise each other. But eventually they fall in love etc. Sounds boring a I know, but there are plot twists. However, I have the couple’s names, the mutual friends names but I need a name of a third friend. His last name is Finnegan and he’ll go by Finn. I would like a somewhat dorky nerdy name for the first name. Maybe Amyntas for the middle name? I heard it a couple days ago from my sister and thought it would work. So help please!!

Though I do not think this name is dorky at all (IN FACT I LOVE IT:p)

Hadley Finnigan sounds nice. Good luck with your story. Let us know what you decide.

Sawyer and Eugene are good. The names that I have used for my dorky characters are Lawrence, Owen, Oliver, Riley, Walter, Oswald, Atticus, Hal....I have others but cannot think of them at the moment.

I think Freddie or Frankie Finnegan are ok. Or Gaylord Finnegan.

If the Finnegan character is gay, then Gaylord would be a good name
