Amelia can be pronounced either way. Though I prefer "ah MEEL yah".

i am saying it out loud! haha. it’s a toughie. it sounds the same each time i say it! hmmm. maybe uh-meal-ee-uh. good luck!

Amelia should be pronounced uh-meal-ya.

If you are looking for an alternative, I know someone who named her daughter Amalia (Molly).
