Aria Melody vs. Yes or vs. No?
My husband and I met during a production of Guys and Dolls when we were in college. He’s now a professor of music at a small liberal arts college in Pennsylvania. We’ve been trying to think of musical names to me used for our baby girl. What do you think of Aria Melody? We’re open to other suggestions. Thanks!

I think Aria andMelody are both cute names.. but.. I think together they are a bit Too musical..
I would go with either the first or middle name but I wouldnt use musical names for both, Just my opinion.

Aria is Italian for "air". It’s a term used in music to describe a self-contained piece for one voice usually with orchestral accompaniment. Perhaps the most common context for arias is opera, although there are many arias that form movements of oratorios and cantatas.

We wouldn’t use Ariana at all, but thanks for the many suggestions for it. It’s not musical at all as the mean is Greek for "very holy one" - derived from the name Ariadne.
