I pronounce Juliana- julie on a and Julianna- julie anna. So I’d use Julianna if I were you.

If you want that pronunciation you have to go with Julianna. But people will still have to be corrected. It is almost a region/state sort of thing. Southern or western people will be more prone to say Anna while northern or coastal people will be more prone to say Ah-Na

I agree with the first person. With the correct pronunciations, one ’N’ gives the ’on’ sound and two ’N’s gives the ’ann’ sound.

That’s true, but knowing that, you can pronounce it however you want to, hehe. I say that because we named our older daughter Sophrianna, and we pronounce it "So-free-ahn-uh"...we knew the "rules" but we liked the way it looked with two n’s, so that’s what we did! (It was a family name, in case you’re wondering where we got it from...I know it is very unusual--we call her Sophie, for short). So anyway, that’s why I say that you can spell it however you want, as long as you know what the "rule" is, hehe. We don’t have a problem with anyone pronouncing her name wrong.
