THIS IS VERY REAL vs. NEED HELP NOW

I’m a freshman in high school and I found out today that one of my good friends is pregnant. It’s sad that there were four 15 year old girls trying to figure out a pregnancy test today in our high school’s bathroom. Anyways, my friend won’t tell her mom. What should I do?

So what if it is fake? You don’t need to spam this thing. I’m not positive on how real this is, but I would leave that up to your friend. If she wants to tell her family, she will in time. It’s not your job to do it for her :-)

You should try and make her realize that this is a big deal...being a teen mom isnt easy. I was 18 when i had my oldest child. It was the hardest decision i have ever had to make.
There are real options available to her. Talking to her mom will help her to find out about those. Keeping it, abortion, adoption. Moms can help make the situation real and realistic. She needs adult input and guidence.

Give her a couple days to let it sink in and see if she will talk to her mom then. If not then maybe a school counselor, they are often confidential and caring and non judgmental, it seems wierd to go to them but they really are a great resource. There are also planned parenthood shops almost everywhere and there is always somebody there to talk with about your options.

I hope this helps...remember its not all one you to fix the problem tho...a couple days should really help

She should know better than you how to deal with her own family. I would feel betrayed if my friend went behind my back to my parents. I wouldn’t care about any ’what’s best’ bullcrap.

So what if this is fake. This is a very serious and common case, and one time you might be in the same situation and need advice too.

Even though you really want to help your friend, it’s really up to her. Just continaully tell her it’s best for her and the baby to tell her parents because she needs to get help from a doctor ASAP. Just know, eventually, she will have to tell her parents, because either way, her parents will know in nine months, no matter how long she hides it. Just #1 rule is to be there for her. If she’s not ready to tell, encourage her to tell, but don’t push her either. It might be a lot to handle for her, so just stand by her in all the decisions made in the pregnancy.

it is mostly up to the girl herself,
but everyone who knows about the baby unfortunately has the responisibility of what’s best for that BABY!
as friends, can you really let your friend go through a whole pregnancy without PRENATAL CARE and EVERYTHING a baby needs for it is even born???

there’s a lot to think about.
good luck!
