Baby Name Poll Results

No offense to you or anyone else...but I am noticing a lot of mothers on this site that have multiple births and 5+ kids, what is going on?? I thought having more than 2 children at a time is RARE, and are all of you Mormons or something? I mean, come on...11 kids??? Thats ridiculous.

We like children a lot, so we wanted to have a lot of kids. And multiple births get more common the more children you have. And we aren’t having twins, Alex and Ethan are our only twins. And we are not Mormon, we’re Baptist.

I just get kind of defensive when see a family that has that many kids, it doesn’t seem right that some women can’t have ONE child no matter how hard they try, and others can keep reproducing until their ovaries dry up.

Are you the same "~Leslie" from a few pages back? The one who words things the same and signs her name the same, but has different kids? I think you’re a liar and a fake.

So because some women can’t have children, other women shouldn’t either, in fear of hurting their feelings?! That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. It is a tragic thing for a woman to have difficulty bearing children, or to be unable to do so, but having big families is a blessing. I come from a family of 8, and I wouldn’t trade that growing-up experience for anything. I have 7 built in best friends for life. My husband and I want to have a large family as well, and I don’t think we should feel guilty about that just because not everyone can!

I hope you arefinancially able to take care of so many children. It would be extrememly unfair to them if you aren’t. I don’t mean just feeding and clothing them, but being able to help them with college, etc.

Good grief, is that really any of your business, either way?! Poster isn’t asking for your approval--she’s asking for NAME SUGGESTIONS. Can’t you people just leave it at that? It’s the point of this site, not to bash on people who choose to make decisions other than those you’ve made in your own life. And it is quite possible to take care of that many children. I come from a family of 8, and my parents have never left us wanting for anything. We’ve been fed, clothed, and taken care of in every way possible, including being put through college and ALL being taken on regular family vacations at least once a year to spend time together, even now that half of us are married! Shocking though it may be to you, some parents really do take care of their kids. In addition to being loved and blessed in abundance, we’ve also been taught good values and the importance of hard work, and each of us have gone on to follow the same pattern for our own children.

Can everyone PLEASE just stop criticizing and give name suggestions on this site?!
