My only question about the name Eva is how is is pronounced. I have heard it pronounced as AY-VAH and EE-VAH. Which way is the more common pronunciation? I prefer AY-VAH, but don’t want people mispronouncing her name, so I’ll use the more common pronunciation.

I like the name Cecile. I know a girl with that name who has a great personality. Cecile is a version of Cecilia that isn’t used much.

Go with Eve! Eva has gotten very popular. Eve is an equally beautiful name and you can call her "Evie" when she’s little.

If it were pronounced Ay-vah, it would be Ava, not Eva. I like Eva better (it is less common than Ava). But if you want it pronounced Ay-vah, then spell it Ava. GL!

I’d always pronounce it AY-VAH.

Ava Cecily is what I’m leaning toward right now. I really like it. But I also like Eve Cecilia. Which one is better?

Eva Cecily is beautiful. It is pronounced AY-vah in some parts of the world, but I think in most places in the US it would be EE-vah. Ava is so popular though, so Eva might still often be mistaken for that.

Eve is nice, but I find it kind of abrupt and it reminds me of things like Christmas Eve and Summer’s Eve douches.
