Joan vs. family name

My married name is Jones. Both of my grandmothers, one of which I was very close with, happened to be named Joan. Both have passed on and I would love love love to give my daughter this namesake but Joan Jones sounds absurd. Does anyone have any kind of suggestions to make this work or is it a lost cause?

Joanna?

Or Joan as a fn and hyphenate your maiden name and Jones. Ex:
Joan Fielding-Jones

Joanna, Siobhan (Gaelic variant of Joan), Jody/Jodie (it’s a pet form of Joan)

We like Joanna but does Joanna Jones still sound a bit..campy and odd in your opinion? I’m just not sure.

The hyphenated name thing would be nice but we have two older sons who have always just had one last name.

Jody Jones and Joanie Joans sounds ridiculous. I think your best bet is Joanna. Joanna Jones isn’t that odd. It’s actually kind of cute and quirky without being just plain stupid.

Johanna...pronounced Jo-HAN-A is nice. And you could always call her Joanie.

I wouldn’t pronounce it JoHANa. That’s a hastle. Everyone will automatically say Joanna regardless of spelling so just go with that.

Johanna or Jody might go well.

Johannah Jones sounds best, and from the way it’s spelled, I think most people will figure out it’s not just "Joanna". My second choice would be Joanna. I wouldn’t use Jody because it is only 2 syllables, which makes it sound more awkward with Jones.
Another option would be to choose a short J name that has several of the same letters as Joan but sounds different, such as:
Jana Jones
Jane Jones
Jean Jones
Johnna Jones
Jina Jones
Jocelyn Jones

Johanna is a totally different name than Joanna. Joanna is JO-ANNA, Johanna is Jo-HAN-a. Very different.

I would just consider that the Joans had already been taken care of with Jones. Or I’d use the Joans’ middle names.

Johannah, Johanna, Joanna, Joann, Joanne
That’s all I can think of for now.
I don’t think they sound too odd with Jones, but it still might get kind of confusing. What about having the first name be something else and the middle name Joan or one of the names listed above? Good luck!
