Marigold? vs. Thoughts?

OK, so I was reading a book, saw this name, and I’m gone. Adore it. I mean, seriously. I love the nn Mari, or maybe even Goldie. I mean, how cute is that? I have one sweet little daughter (3) who is named Liliana (always called Lily). My husband Mike likes it a lot too, but worries two flower name may be overkill, especially because if we have more kids, thy will probably not have flower names (especially in the case we have a boy). Does anyone have any opinions? Thanks do much; all your help is appreciated. God bless you and the little ones on the way!! -Shelley, Mike, Lily, and our baby girl

its ok but if you have a third daughter you’ll have to give her a flower name or she’ll feel left out.

I dont like the name really. Marnie is cute to me. I agree 2 flower names is a little much, unless you love flowers, but still.

I agree with poster 2. You can do it, but then if you have other girls, you need to give them a flower name too. But there are not’s of beautiful flower names like:
Jasmine
Ivy
Rose/Roselyn
Daisy

as themes go it’s not so bad, if another child comes you can also use gem names as well as flower names, also things of beauty

Liliana is not a flower name, just the nn Lily. And Goldie/Mari is not a flower name, so I think if you don’t give the third a flower name, it’s not that bad at all! Personally, I would, just because there are other flower names I could stand and just in case my daughters would feel left out. But it really would not be bad, I certainly would not have noticed if you had not pointed it out. GL!! :) (P.S: love the name Marigold and the nns!)
