Do you think that the name Zoe is too cutesy for a grown woman? Is it silly sounding, not good for a woman with a profession?

you konw, i’ve never liked zoe/chloe, or thought they aged well. but you could always go with a very nice middle name, so when she gets older, she could always go by that if she chooses. however, in times like these, there are so many names that are worse, if zoe is all you like, it’s not the worst you could do.

Zoe was the name of two different Byzantine Empresses and the name of the wife of a Russian Tsar. I should think a name good enough for an Empress is good enough for a MD/JD/MBA/CPA,etc.

zoe is a beautiful name, and it ages very well. don’t be afraid it will be too cutsey. everyone worries that, yet they still people named emmie and lily are succesful business women. i mean, i love emmie and lily, but they dont age too well so no offence to anyone with a child w/ that name b/c everyone eventually growns into their name =]

I don’t think that it ages well at all. Actually I don’t like it for any age. But like the first person said, Zoe certainly isn’t the worst that you could do.

I think it’s a bit silly for an older woman. It has become so trendy and common these days that it’s getting old pretty quick. I’d keep looking. I’m sure there’s something better and more classy you like!

I know a woman who just turned forty named Zoe and it works for her. Everyone eventually grows into their name and makes it work for them. If you love the name, go for it.
