Ayla Janine vs. Stevie Renee vs. Jessie Serena

I am 35 weeks along with my husband Rick and I’s first baby :) We want a pretty unique name that we don’t hear that often. These are 3 that we really like :) We know Stevie and Jessie are both common boy names, but we think they’d be really cute. Please feel free to suggest some :) no rude comments please. Thanks! -Lena

Love Ayla! It’s one of my favourite names and so underused. Steve is cute but I don’t think it will age well and Jessie/Jessica is what too common.

I don’t know how I feel about the "A" in Ayla and the sound of "A" in Renee together. And in our area, Jessie isn’t very common. It may be a common name, just not in our particular area. And it’d would either be Jess or Jessie, never Jessica. Thanks! -Lena

Oh my god I can’t choose! All are beautiful! But if I had to, I would take out Jessie and pick between Ayla and Stevie, just because Jessie is too much of a nick name. Good luck!

I think if you have to ask for no rude comments then you must have some doubts about your choices. I really dislike Stevie and Jessie, cant imagine why you woukd want to call a little girl such boyish dull names. however, if you spelt Ayla, Isla instead then that’s pretty.

Ayla isn’t pronounce like Isla. It pronounced (A-luh) i don’t like the name Isla. I don’t have doubts on these names one bit. I asked for no rude comments because people can say really rude things when there is a nicer way to put it. So i don’t appreciate your comment at all. Thanks -Lena

I have an Ayla. I LOVE her name. Nobody has mispronounced her name and everyone comments on how beautiful it is. It is pronounced Ayla (like Kayla). Isla is Isla. I don’t care for that name either...but like I said, nobody has ever mispronounced it. My vote, obviously, is Ayla. I do think your names are interesting though...one so obviously feminine and the others gender neutral/boyish.
