Honestly, I totally associate it with cows. If you were naming a cow I’d think it an excellent choice.

I think it is too cutesy. What about something similar? I think Blue is a cute first name (although I prefer it on boys, it’s still cute on girls). How about Blue (first name) Belle (Middle name)? Or something like Bella or Belle or Isabelle/Isabella.

I don’t like it. I also think of a cow, and I think it’s an awful name for a child.

Apparently Bluebell is a stereotypical cow name and probably not the greatest idea for your kid.

Yet everyone loves Belle and Bella, and even Blue...but not together? It’s a flower people! A really beautiful flower. When I think of cows, I think of Betsy or Bessie. I say go for it. It’s unique and she could go by Belle or Blue.

Ginger Spice named her daughter Bluebell Madonna. I think if you paired it with a feminine, more common name it would be alright.

What kind of reasoning is that? I like the names Mary and Mia, but I wouldn’t stick them together and name my kid Marymia because it sounds *idiotic* and would make people giggle every time she said it. Name your kid Bluebell and she’ll spend her life having people say "mooo."

Yeah, but Mary and Mia don’t sound good together. Blue and Belle do.

I like Bluebell way more than Jennifer, Jessica, Megan, Madison, etc so I say go for it. At least it has character and I don’t think of cows at all when I hear it.

I’m not a fan of Bluebell myself. It makes me think of blue---- (male body parts). So sorry but i had to say it. That could be the first thing guys think when they hear that name not flowers. I once saw a similar name. Winterbelle. I thought it was a beautiful name.

I don’t like it AT ALL....especially because of the cow connection. It doesn’t sound cute at all to me. It sounds like some one was trying to be a little too creative and failed....
