Sarah Elizabeth vs. Sadie Isabella vs. Amira Elise

I wanted to honor both of my grandmothers with our daughters name, because I am very close to them. But Sarah Elizabeth is just... so plain and seemingly common. Both grandmas said not to worry about honoring them - to pick a name we love because having a little girl to hold is enough for them. However - I’d still really like to honor them. So hubby and I picked out a couple of names with the same meanings. What do you think? Suggestions are welcome too! Thanks - Candace

I think that with all the trendy or made up names that are on the rise, Sarah Elizabeth is a beautiful, classic choice.

Maybe Sarabeth, Elsa, Saralise, or Elisah?

Sara Elise is a lovely name and it looks more modern, yet still very close to your grandmothers’ names.

Go with Sadie Isabella it honors them without being so Plain Jane. Sarah Elizabeth was also my great-grandmother’s name. I’m using the names Sierra and Elise to honor my great grandmother, not together necessarily.
