I am expeciting a girl in late August. I have a few names that I love but I want to know outside opinions on them. Please tell me what you think about these names: Laurel, Pippa, Rosalie, Cheyenne, Michaela, Clarissa, Susannah/Suzanna, Winslet, Kensington, Paisley. These are my top ten. I am also open to suggestions. Thanks, Marina

Laurel - I do think it’s very pretty, but it’s also so close to the overused Lauren and Laura that it loses a little of it’s charm
Pippa is cute enough, sounds like a character from an Enid Blyton novel. Personally I prefer Piper - sounds a little more sophisticated
Rosalie is beautiful, very feminine and pretty
Cheyenne sounds a little trashy to me sorry, as does Michaela
Clarissa is a little clunky to my ear, I prefer Cleo
Susannah is a pretty and rather underused traditional. I prefer it to Suzanna, though I like Susanna best
Winslet is a guilty pleasure name for me, I think it would get a lot of flack from name traditionalists, but I think it has such a cool elegant vibe
Kensington seems kind of pretentious to me, like you want her to be part of the royal family lol
Paisley I sometimes love, sometimes don’t. It’s a tad trendeigh
Rosalie Winslet would be lovely

Laurel- I think it’s too old and don’t think it’s as pretty as some of the others
Pippa- it’s cute, but if your not a prominent leader of society I don’t think that it will age well
Rosalie- I think that this name is very beautiful and timeless
Cheyenne- Thins name is very pretty and unique
Michaela- love this spelling it is different in a good way
Clarissa- not a fan of this name, but i think it is pretty as long as you don’t use Clary as her nickname
Susannah/Suzanna- this name is very southern, but if that’s what your going for then it’s great
Winslet- I don’t see this for a little girl or in the future a grown woman
Kensington- i love this name despite what some say i think it will age well and is really pretty
Paisley- i like this name it has a southern feel but i think it is getting really popular so thats something to consider

I was considering the name Cheyenne for my baby due in August until I learned that it means "Unintelligible speakers." What a lame meaning.
