Nora & Riley vs. Norah & Riley
Hi, were having twins girls and have decided on the names Nora & Riley :) but my partner thinks it would be better to spell Norah like this. He thinks it looks better. I think the original spelling of Nora looks alot better however, and I really can’t stand ’trendy’ spellings or spellings that aren’t the original :( please vote for which spelling, in your opinion, looks best :) middle names are going to be Nora Rhiannon & Riley Madeleine :D thank you

Poster, Annee was just trying to help. Please at least try to be polite. Your husband is right Norah is nicer, and looks less trendy than Nora.

I’m really not trying to be awful, but it’s hard to be polite when I consider poster one to be rude, when it is most blatantly obvious that we are set on the spelling Riley

You never said that "Riley is set" so no, it isn’t "blatantly obvious". Also, have you ever heard of a spelling mistake? Don’t be so rude to people that are trying to help.

I’m really trying to find in your post where you said that Riley was set. I’m not finding it.

It IS obvious, when we are asking for an opinion on a spelling for one name, but not the other? Exactly. Point made.

No, your point isn’t made. You really should be a lot nicer to people that YOU asked for help. If you don’t want to hear what people have to say, good and bad, then don’t post at all. Riley is absolutely horrid next to the beautiful Norah (this spelling looks better as a full name). I would assume you have a boy and a girl.

Yes. We asked for help with the spelling of Nora. How was I not nice? I gave my opinion on the spelling Reilly, just as you people have gave opinions on our names. I don’t care if you would assume I had a boy and a girl, people who know us will know we have 2 girls. And if you actually want to help why are you talking about the name Riley? Her name is set. We need votes on the spelling of Nora. Not opinions or suggestions on Riley. So if you don’t like us or the poll then just get off it.

Um - you made fun of someone that was trying to help you? We didn’t say "We HATE all your names, YUCK :(!!!"
P.S. - What does blatantly mean?

I didn’t make fun of anyone! I stated that our opinion on the spelling Reilly was stuck. And it was supposed to be in good humour. If people have taken it the wrong way then that’s too bad. And blatantly means ’brazenly obvious’.

I said the SPELLING Reilly to me is yuck. And that’s an opinion not bullying. What were you poster 20? The school wimp. She said my name was yuck... grow up. And as I’ve said if you don’t like us or the poll then get off. And btw we did state that Riley was a set spelling, in the comment section. That’s where you’ll find it.

Nora or Norah doesn’t go well with Riley, sorry. It is a great name it just doesn’t look good with Riley. Natalie and Rylee sounds a lot better or Noelle and Riley. Or Norah and Raquel. If you want Nora it needs to have an H. GL:)
PS stop fighting. It is immature. Let it go. (:

Wow. I just read through this. You are a bully. Here’s a few things you said:
"We hate the spelling Reilly, yuck!"
"I consider Poster 1 to be rude."
"You’re the school wimp."
"How was I not nice?"

I said were you the school wimp? And where did I supposedly ’bully’ poster 1? I made no comment about or too her? It is not my fault that you all misunderstood and interpreted our comment wrongly And isn’t that what you’re all doing to me now? Bullying? Get off our poll. We couldn’t give a [removed] what you think. We’re going with Nora & Riley for our girls. At least you helped make our minds up.

You bullied poster 1 in poster 2. Simple. Okay, so EVERYONE misunderstood you. EVERYONE is wrong except you. Sure.

Get off our poll. Are you obsessed with us or something?? Any further comments are pointless. We’ve made our minds up. ;D thanks bullies!

I’m sorry. I really didn’t mean to be rude. It’s just, when I see someone being bullied, I sort of tend to stick up for them. To the point of death. I’m glad you liked the names you chose.
