Carson Victoria vs. Sunny Victoria

Hi again! I had made a poll last night asking for thoughts on the name Sunny. Someone had the idea of a longer name with the nick name Sunny (they suggested Madison - but Madison is far too common for what I’m looking for). I was searching for names with the same -son ending, and found Carson. Is Carson with the nick name Sunny better than Sunny on its own? I’m looking for a more unique name that will age well. Is Carson too common of a name? I personally think Sunny is cute and very feminine - if people are called Dawn and Summer, why not Sunny? Thanks in advance for thoughts and suggestions!

Sunny on its own works or Sunshine nn Sunny

Sunny (or Sunshine as pp suggested) will not age well or seem professional for an adult. Carson is too popular/common as a boy name. Why not Soleil nn Sunny (since Soleil means "sun")?

What’s wrong with just naming her Sunny? It’s very cute and not as common/overused as most names on here

Sunny with a U makes no sense as a nickname for a name that ends in -son with an O. And Sonny would just be weird for a daughter.

I love Sunny! You’re right, it’s cute and feminine. Very spunky and neat! The only other names I can think of the Sunny can be a nickname for are:

Asunta

Hasuna

Maysun (this is not a "kre8iv" spelling of Mason. It’s Arabic and means "beautiful")

Setsuna

Sunanda

Sundara

Sunila

Suniva

Sunna

And of course all names ending in "-son." My favorite is just Sunny on its own. Very nice! :-)

*that. It’s supposed to be "that" between "of" and "Sunny". :-)
