Girl vs. Name vs. List!
Hello mommies! We have revised our list for our daughter’s names. From the names (in the first comment), which do you think goes best with Henry Oliver and Arthur George? Please no middle names! Thank you! -Laura
The Top Baby Name is...
I think the best to go with your boys would be Estelle or Lila. But they are all gorgeous names!
Estelle and Louisa
From favorite to Least:
I’d say Louisa, but none of them really stand out to me as being really upper-crust British sounding like the boy names do. It’s not a deal buster though.
We don’t like Estella, simply Estelle. And cc, if you don’t like any of them or you think they don’t go with Henry and Arthur’s names, what would you suggest?
I think they sound fine together, just not super-matchy (which may or may not be a good thing). Names that come to mind are Margaret, Elaine, Catherine, and Gwyneth/Gwendolyn.
I actually do really like Louisa. My husband and I talked about using Miriam too but we couldn\’t agree on how to pronounce her nickname so we gave up on it (I love My-ree, he thought it sounds too much like Miley).
Being super matchy isn’t a top priority to us; though we would like the names to somewhat go together (nothing radically different such ash Henry, Arthur, and Ryleigh or something). Unfortunately, Margaret, Elaine, and Catherine are names we can’t use and Gwyneth/Gwendolyn being with the same letter/G sound as our list name which we really aren’t fond of
My favorites are Miriam and Liliana.
Least are Louisa and Leona.
Leilah is not an option from our list, nor is it our style
