I hate polls that ask stupid questions like this! It completely depends on the individual name!

Depends on the name, some uncommon names are not used for a very good reason.

Ditto above. Here’s my take. An "overused" or common name may be so because it’s classic. It has stood the test of time and is popular still for a reason. Then there is overused as in a name that has become popular again (as in Noah, Emily) or is trendy as in Aiden, Mason, Peyton, Piper. The later type names, in my opinion, are better off NOT used. In that case, go with something less common and not so "tired".
