Tell them now? vs. Wait until he is born vs. WDYT WDYT

Hi. We are having our very first son, and we can\’t decide to surprise the family at his birth, or have them over this afternoon and surprise them. We have 5 daughters: Emma, Lily, Alexis, Isabella and Penelope. We are naming our son Mason Elliot, but we haven\’t told anyone he is a boy. WDYT we should do. Thanks- Rhonda and Christopher

Either have a big reveal party or wait. Personally I think you should wait!

When is he due?
I would wait until he is born if he is due soon, and put and it’s a boy ballon in the hospital room right when the go in. Otherwise, I love those gender reveal cakes!

If you are having a baby shower i would tell them now, just wait till he is born to tell them his now, when i was having my son i told everyone it was a boy my friend did a babyshower for me then at the baby shower we played the baby name game and at the end of that game i told them his name will be Brady Alexander.

I would wait to tell them until after his baby shower, if you are having one, so they don’t get him a bunch of outfits that say ’Little Brother’ and stuff like that instead of actual necessities

So funny that we created this poll, because Rhonda’s water just broke! I guess we will have to wait until he is born. His due date was two weeks from today, but I guess he wants out. Thank for your advice

Wow. What a coincidence! Thanks for taking time to tell us all about it before heading to the hospital.
