Daniel Jacob vs. Joseph Kaleb vs. Jonathan David

Hello, my fiancée and I have very different tastes in names. The names he chooses aren’t generally bad, I just don’t like them. Plus two names he likes I have known someone who I absolutely loathe and that totally ruins my perspective on them. Help? The first two are his favorite boy names. I’m torn on the name Jonathan because I hate the name John, but for some reason it’s okay if it’s spelled Jon?

I don’t think it’s weird at all! I hate the name Daniel but LOVE Danny. I like Jonathon but am not a fan of Jon spelled any way.
