Rozanne Ray vs. Ray Rozanne vs. Ray Anne
I have been craving raisins and only raisins for the past couple months. Chocolate covered raisins, raisin bread, oatmeal raisin cookies, normal Sunmaid raisins, you name it. So I thought why not incorporate my new favorite food with my daughter’s name. I can’t name her Raisin because that would be ridiculous. What is your opinion? Any suggestions? Please don’t say raisins are gross because I don’t care!

Oh by the way my name is Sally!!!
Ew raisins are gross... why would you do that to an innocent child???
Why not name her Sun? Like Sunmaid->Sun. nn Sunny??
I don’t understand the obsession of naming children after food and weather conditions. What happened to socially acceptable names like my daughter’s name Sue and my son Joe?
Marianne, we can’t all be boring like you. Please don’t judge my naming strategies.
Thank you Guest for the lovely, wonderful, fabulous, stunning, fantastic, terrific, amazing suggestion of Sun and Sunny. I’m really considering it. Thank you.
I named my daughter Catalina after salad dressing and my son Oliver Ranch. Why not name your daughter Raisin? You can make a funky spelling like Raizynn.
What if you have a son? Are you going to name him Bran? lol
Thank you for the suggestion Leela, I greatly appreciate it! I’m sure Catalina and Oliver are wonderful.
Guest, how did you know!? My hubby and I were actually discussing that!
Rosanne is pretty if you spell it with an "S"
Don’t name your children after Raisins. That’s ridiculous
I like Rozanne, but would spell it Rosanne just to avoid spelling issues etc. I’m not sure about Ray Anne, I think it kind of lacks substance, I tend to think of them both as filer names. How about Raeanne as the full first name with a middle name? Or Rhian? I do like all of your names though!
Just to add, who cares what you use to get inspiration for your childs name? You’re not actually naming her Raisin, so who cares? If it turns out to be pregnancy hormones, then just don’t tell the story any more, haha!
(I really like Bran as a nickname for Branwell:))
