It’s a bit L heavy. I’m iffy on using names like Lane as middles since it sounds like the name of an actual Lane. I have the same issue with River.

I really like both names, I’m just not sure I like them together.

I also prefer Collin Lane.

Collins sounds like the plural of something, or a last name, and I think it makes your whole name sound like a road.

Plus, he’s going to run into the plural problem.

"That’s Collins’ truck."

It looks weird.

Thanks for the opinions! It is for our son. My maiden name is Collins and I thought it would be cool to use it for our son. Hubby isn’t a fan of the middle name with it but wants to use Lane- it was his brothers name.

Collins is definitely a cool name to give your child, especially if it’s your maiden name.

I think that if the name is an honor name, that trumps everything else if you want to use it.

Sounds like a road. I would go for Lane Collins instead.
