I prefer Niall, however he will likely be reminded it is a member of One Direction.

I had no idea what One Direction was until I looked it up and I feel like by the time he is older they won’t be super famous so that doesn’t bother me.

But when you name him that, people will always say "oh like One Direction" save yourself some grief and name the kid Nigel

Nobody I know who we have told our name options too has said that so we really aren’t worried about it.

And I am saying is that nobody has. We are adults not teen girls. I highly doubt most people know all the names of the members in a little boy band. We are not going to get rid of the name for that reason.
