My list vs. My husband’s list vs. Thoughts on both?

Hi ladies, my name is Shannon. I’m really happy I got off work early today so I could do this without my husband Cameron. ;) I’m expecting a baby girl but we cannot seem to see eye to eye on her name. We each made a list of our top 5 names, and they are very different styles. I will write each list in the comments below. Please let me know what you think. We really need a third party’s opinion. I like Grace and Lily but I absolutely love Morgan and Paige. What if you did Morgan as a first name and Grace as a middle name (Morgan Grace) or something like that. Then you both get your favorite name!

I love you’re list more than Cameron’s. I suggest Lily Paige, Sophie Grace or Grace Riley. You could use a name from both to get the perfect name. Good luck, I love all of the names except Melody and Morgan!

From your list I like Isabel, Lucy and Grace. Lily is overused and I simply hate it. Julia is alright.
From Cameron’s list I like Sophie. Melody is for music not a baby. I hate Morgan. It reminds me of this goth girl I went to school with. Riley is being used on boys. Paige is okay. Compromise and use one of your names for the first name and use one of his for the middle name or vise versa.

I like both lists rather well! Do you already have a middle name picked out? If not, then you could use one from each, like:

Lucy Paige

Morgan Grace

Melody Isabel

Julia Sophie


My favorite name overall is a tie between Lucy and Melody. So, I’m really not sure which list I like best! ^^; Good luck! :-)

All of those names are used to much that I’d go with Melody. That’s beautiful and she’ll be able to have that name without being 1 of 100 girls in her community that have it

Lucy Paige!! Or you could do Lucille and nn Lucy, which makes more sense to me.

I prefer your list all of yours are lovely while Morgan nad Riley (despite fads) are too masculine and paige is just kind of...there. Melody and Sophie are nice though

Lily, Isabel and Grace and gorgeous names, however they seem to be quite popular at the moment. I like Morgan and Paige and if you dont mind her name being common Isabel and Lily.
