Gender Reveal ideas? vs. Babies #5 & 6 vs. Baby boys!

Hi guys. I am a Mommy of four beautiful ladies, and now we are expecting twin boys! We know this is a baby name site, but any ideas of how to creatively reveal the genders? Personal stories will be great. We are having my shower tomorrow, and have told everyone to bring gender neutral stuff. We have heard of getting cakes with blue on the inside, but otherwise, we are stumped. Any help greatly apperciated. -Kate, Timothy, Olivia, Bridget, Sophia and Lily + the boys

I would fill two boxes with blue balloons. Label them A&B, and then open them. That’s what we did. Everyone was so excited. I am sure your family will be thrilled. Do you need any name help?

I would get a boys outfit, and surprise them by opening a gift you have already wrapped. Do you have the ultrasound revealing genders recorded? You could show them that? Good luck! What are the names?

The cakes are cute, but ballons are easier for a big crowd to see! What are you naming them! Do you want help?

You could have blue and pink slips and have people write their names on which they think it is. You could then announce it with a cake, balloons, etc. and whoever was right goes home with a gift/cool party favor

This is a new trend, these "gender reveal" parties. I personally think they’re a little silly, but the ideas suggested here are cute. Used to be, the "gender reveal" was called "birth".

What about making a little video and revealing the names of the babies? Maybe your whole family could wear blue? Maybe you can prepare the nursery for all the family?

Okay perfect! Here’s what you do: do the ballon idea, but have a little banner that pops out that reads Mason _ and Collin _. Or do the cakes, and have the names written on the cakes.
Here are some middle names that I like

Mason James
Collin Thomas

Mason Elliot
Collin John

Mason Alexander
Collin Michael.

Good luck

Do what Poster 11 suggests. But still have the guessing game. Who ever wins gets a Starbucks card or something. Do the gender reveal last though, since they already have neutral gifts

Well...this hasn\’t actually happened but it would be really cool. If you are planning to give everyone a gift from yourself...you could get them a box of chocolates. The chocolates could be arranged in the box to spell the word boy. And if your felling really creative..you can make the chocolate blue in the middle...so when you bite into the chocolate...its blue!!! I hope that helped...it might be expensive though...or impossible...I don\’t think its ever been done...the idea just popped into my head. GOOD LUCK!

My Friend she had her husband put his hand print on her tummy in pink paint you could have your hubby do the same with both his hands and in blue.

We just had a party over the weekend and we filled a blue balloon and a pink one with pink glittery confetti. My husband and I each had a balloon and popped them and the confettie went everywhere. It was great and not silly at all!!! We had 200 ppl at our party and it was decorated like a reception. It wasn’t "silly" at all. Everyone loved it and it was a precious time that we will never forget! I also thought about doing a cupcake lottery and having only one filled with link icing. But too much could go wrong with that many ppl!
