Yes vs. No

I need help everyone. We have two children, Gabriella and Justin. Gabriella is 3, Justin is 1, and I am 33; DH is 34. We knew when we were married that we wanted 2 or 3 kids and all of them by the time I was 35. We are both indecisive but usually feel complete having a girl and a boy. It would be different if we had two boys or two girls but sometimes we wonder about a 3rd. At the same time, I worry about finances with me currently staying home and 3 college educations to pay for. If you were in this situation, with one of each gender, what did you do? Should I have another? Please leave comments:-)

I had one of each and we decided to have one more. We always wanted more than two. I feel like more siblings gives them more happiness in life than more things. And who says you have to pay for all of college? Kids helping pay for their own education gives them a lot of valuable lessons they wouldn’t learn otherwise. At the end of the day though, you have to decide what is best for you and your family. Good luck.

Talk to your hubby and really think about it, I think you’d be fine either way.

It is incredibly difficult for a total stranger to give family planning advice. We have no comprehension of what your day to day life is like or whether or not you should have another or not.

I know families who have multiple (4+) children and manage the craziness that life throws at a large family really well ... and I know families with 1 or 2 kids who truly don’t manage their families well at all. So, it a very personal decision that only you and your husband can truly know the answer to.

It’s personal- but if you feel incomplete then do it. You will NOT regret it if you do decide to have another. I don’t know anyone that had "oops" babies or a 3rd or 4th child that said they wish they didn’t...they all say I wouldn’t trade him/her for anything.

Pray on it. God will give you all the children you were meant to have. Psalm 127:3 "The fruit of the womb is a reward." Jeremiah 1:5 "I knew you before I formed you in your mothers womb." Whatever happens is what is meant to be.

I agree. If you get the feeling that someone is missing and you are physically able, then I would go for it.
(I paid for all of my college on my own without family help and debt free.)
