Kensi vs. Kenzie
Which spelling do you like better?
The Top Baby Name is...
Kensi as a nn for Kensington but Kenzie as a nn for Makenzie. I like Kenzie better as a whole name.
Both are EXTREMELY trendy...fine until age 10---can you REALLY imagine a 50-year-old named Kenzie?????
Kenzi over Kensi. Kensi looks like it should be pronounced ’Ken-see’
please ignore poster #2, I’m sorry if this sounds rude but people like that REALLY annoy me. First of all, you’re naming another person, someone who’s soul will have this name for eternity (not to sound dramatic, but there’s a point I promise), you’re not naming some human product to fit some position we’ve all decided for our race of species, to be born, get a job, grow old and die. Name her a name that you love that you want her to carry with her through an incredible life, not some conforming inside the box ridiculousness that will suit her one day when she’s 50 sitting in an office somewhere.
On another note, how about the names MANY mature adults carry today that are thought of as normal... Sally, Nancy, Jenny, Jeannie, Krissie, etc... just because you haven’t already been PROGRAMMED to be familiarized to a name and thus consider it the ’norm’ doesn’t mean it doesn’t "work" in some certain genre you have in your programmed head.
