Hi! We have a daughter named Alexandra Rose whom we call Lexie. I very much want to name our second daughter Allyson Danielle, to be called Ally. Are Ally and Lexie okay as a sibling pair? My husband thinks people might be confused, since Ally is also a common nickname for Alexandra. Our other favorite name, tied with Allyson, is Addison; however, we dislike the nickname "Addie", so in the case that we choose this name, she won’t have a NN, she will just be Addison. WDYT?

Lexie and Ally are not close. Addy and Ally would be but mot Lexie and Ally.

Ally and Lexie aren’t too close, but I think Alexandra and Allyson are since the first two syllables are very similar.
