Lexi - Spelling too close to Levi. I usually like nicknames as formal names, but this one may just force people to assumer her name is Alexis.

I love the name Lyla, and also love Lily, Lucy, Abby, and Skye. A middle name for either Lyla, Lily, or Lucy could be Elaine (one of my favorites). A middle name for Abby could be Rose, Mae, Renae, or Marie. And for Skye, I like the middle name Elizabeth. Congrats and good luck!

Thanks so much for the opinions and suggestions! I really like Remy, and it seems like most of you don’t like Cora. So that will be eliminated. New list is:

Maia is pronounced my-yuh

Remy-too made-up sounding
Lyla-too old
Maia-ok but doesn’t age very well
Kate-sounds great with Levi, good choice!
Lexi-doesn’t age well at all

Maia is by far my favorite. It is quite pretty. I also like Kate. Cora was nice too, but I see you just eliminated it. It would have been my third pick.

Lyla and Lexi are too similar to brother IMO. Four letters and Ls in the beginning form too much of a pattern. I would not use them with Levi. As names on their own, I like Lila or Lilah quite a bit, but dislike Lyla. Lexi is a nice nickname, but seems young and incomplete for the woman she will become.

I dislike Remy on a girl. It is actually on my boys list, but I find it completely unfeminine. I could see it as a nine perhaps for something longer, but as-is, it is my least favorite of the bunch. Good luck.

- Maia: cute, but she will have trouble encountering misspellings of her name
