Rain Beau vs. Mary Christmas

Hi there, I come from a family of hippies, myself being called Liberty Rose Blossom. My little angel in due 24th December and we just found out two days ago that we’ve been blessed with a little girl!! People may disagree with these names we’ve chosen, but they both mean a lot to us. We tried to be different with Rain Beau, so it’s not just simply Rainbow, a typical hippy name. And as a Christmas baby, we like the idea of incorporating Christmas possibly into her name as Christmas is a massive celebration in my family. Please do not think we are simply making this all up. Any other suggestions either just pretty names or incorporating Christmas are more than welcome xx

You could name her Eve if she is born on christmas eve!
I think Natala Eve would be pretty! Natala means born on christmas so her name would mean born on christmas eve!

However, as ridiculous as it may sound, it’s verging on a little "normal" a bit, and in my family and community of Sunshine’s and America’s and Toad’s(unfortunately yes my sister did call her son that, ghastly!) it’s important to stand out and have a name that no-ones really heard of before, or that links in well to create a larger picture. If you understand?

Regarding Rayne and Noelle, I like Noelle Rayne better than Rayne Noelle only because Noelle Rayne flows better when said out loud.

I’m not keen on either to be honest. Whilst its important to you that your Childs name is different, its also important to remember that for the majority if the time, she will be surrounded by Emma’s and Sophia’s and Oliver’s. I think you need to find that balance.

How about: Breeze
Love
Whisper
Serenity
Allegra
Honey
Shiloh
Cassiopeia
Sunshine
Journey
Storm

I actually really like Rain and Beau (but spelled Bo for a girl) but I think you definitely need to steer clear of creating a word from the two names. Good luck.

I like Mary Christmas. It means something special to your family, and if she doesn’t like it when she’s older or needs a professional name, she can go by Mary or Mary C. and no one will know the difference.

I think Rain could be a fine first name, but I’d be careful not to pick something your child could be teased about. I like the name suggestions made by Nichole, the previous poster.
