I like it. And I am not usually a fan of unusual names but it is very pretty and I like that it means rose bud. Good choice!

I don’t like it. It sounds to close to a Calic(sp?) with is sort of a twist of hair on top a persons hair. It also reminds me of the colr Calico(and the cat breed) and Colic, which babies sometimes have.
To me, too many connections to burden my child with this name. I’d find a better and prettier name if I were you.

I don’t care for it at all. It sounds very made-up and will probably be mispronounced A LOT! I just don’t find it attractive - sorry! I prefer Kayla or something less-trendy and classier.

Personally I love it but if you are unsure then try maybe try Callista or Calliope or Calypso.

The pronunciation is pretty and so is the meaning but I think it would be mispronounced a lot. I don’t agree with going with something like Kayla though; I find that name and similar ones quite trendy. I like Calla, Calista and Calypso.

i’d look for more unusual names,
however if that’s what your drawn too, then by all means you can name your child that.
just remember how hard it’ll be to make sure everyone is pronouncing her name right. and the spelling will be harddd.
