Elizabeth vs. First name vs. Middle name

The girls name Elizabeth has been growing on me lately but I do have a few problems with it. The main thing is, if I was to use it I don’t know whether to use it as a first or middle name. I feel like it is always used as a filler middle name and it is a shame. Secondly, if I use it as a first name, I am worried it would be shortened to a nickname I don’t like such as Liz or Eliza or Betty etc. I quite like Libby as a nickname though. Do you think Elizabeth works best as a first or middle name? Thanks for voting/comments~ G

Emma in Western Australia
We have a boy named Tyler James and a girl named Gypsie Jade. Expecting our 3rd, which is a boy. I'm in love with the name Olly, but my partner thinks Gypsie and Olly are unique names and Tyler is not, so it won't feel right. So he wants an ordinary name. Please help with something unique but ordinary.
Baby Name Genie:
In the space between unique and ordinary is a special category of names I think of as "antiques." They are familiar and well-used names that are not widely in use these days. For your son, I give you Oscar Jude - a perfectly ordinary, unique name.
