Sofia vs. Good name vs. Overdone name
Hi, we’re a family of Greece going to move to the east coast United States before the birth of our daughter in late November. Is our name we chose overdone? Her brothers are called Demetri and Sebastian, sisters are called Vanessa, Iona and Alysandra. Also instead of Sofia we are thinking Theodora (which would be "Teddy"), Lillian ("Lilli") or Layna......what do you think?

I knew a lovely Theodora in college and they called her "Tea" which I thought was sweet. I’d definitely go with that over Sofia.

Theodora goes fantastically with her brothers and sisters! And Teddy is adorable! I do think Sofia is really overdone, whilst it’s a nice name, it’s lost some of it’s woe for me personally, and your other choices are much more interesting.
