Fav and vs. Least Fav vs. on our List
Which of our list of boy and girl names is your favourite, your least favourite and why. They are short lists. Which do you think best suits the names of baby older brothers - Ollivander (Andy/Ollie) and Arthur (Artie). Baby due in October. Thanks
The Top Baby Name is...
Middle Name: Graham Gerard
Middle Name: Marie Joy/Joy Marie
Definitely wouldnt go with Primrose. I think a lot of people would associate that with The Hunger Games. But I love Delilah and Sterling!
Like Sterling and Primrose :)
We don’t really care about the Hunger Games association. But thank you.
Sterling for the boy, and Delilah and Primrose are really cute for the girls!
My fave for a girl is Primrose as it sounds so pretty and delicate - though maybe better as a middle name due to being quite unusual
There’s not one that I dislike, though I guess Gwendolyn sounds a tad prissy to me
Not wild about Marie, but I do love Joy
For boys I think Tarquin has a cool exotic sound. Browning is a bit dull and to much of a surname for my taste - plus I’m sure little boys can think of unpleasant names for Brown!
I adore all of your girls names!
I only like Sterling out of your boys names, sorry.
The middle names are family names, so they stay as is. My boys have double middle names too. Yes we know that makes for a very long name. They also have a hyphenated last name. Very long. But we don’t mind. Thank you all so much for your feedback. We just wanted to get a feel for which names would be most accepted. We love all the names, I’m leaning more toward Sterling and Primrose but my partner is leaning more toward Delilah and Winchester.
but Primrose, although it’s a pity about the Hunger games connection, comes a very close second.
Sterling is the only boy’s name I like and Delilah is my favourite girl’s name. The rest are ok, though, but lack the punch it has.
