Fathers vs. Having twins vs. Ahhhhhh!

Hello all you beautiful mommies and daddies! My name is Pat and my partner is Nate. We signed up with an adoption agency about a year ago. We just got a call that a mother is having twins she can’t keep. We don’t know the genders, but the mommy is in labor. We have a crib, and a designated room, with some diapers. But that’s it! We need to know what to buy for newborn twins. Also, we need names. We have and a list for YEARS, but never picked names. I’ll put them in comments, and choose you favorite pairs for each combination. What do we do? Any advice for two fathers raising two kids at once? Please, no hate. Our kids will be just as loved in any home in ours, even if their parents are the same gender. -Patrick, Nate + 2

Emma in Western Australia
We have a boy named Tyler James and a girl named Gypsie Jade. Expecting our 3rd, which is a boy. I'm in love with the name Olly, but my partner thinks Gypsie and Olly are unique names and Tyler is not, so it won't feel right. So he wants an ordinary name. Please help with something unique but ordinary.
Baby Name Genie:
In the space between unique and ordinary is a special category of names I think of as "antiques." They are familiar and well-used names that are not widely in use these days. For your son, I give you Oscar Jude - a perfectly ordinary, unique name.
