Spelling vs. Dilemma vs. Help!

Im going to be a first time mom to a little girl. I want to know others thougts on spelling a name differently. I want to name my daughter Londyn, Mikaelyn or Aubrey. In my previous poll, spelling London with a Y instead of an O was just a HUGE problem. I got most votes for Aubrey just because of the spelling. I want to add a little difference to a name but I guess it’s wrong? Im a bit confused and please dont be rude. I consider he comment "Looking illiterate is not something you should aim for" to be a little too much. I understand opinions, but no need for being rude about it. -Destiny

Genie's Mailbag

Emma in Western Australia
We have a boy named Tyler James and a girl named Gypsie Jade. Expecting our 3rd, which is a boy. I'm in love with the name Olly, but my partner thinks Gypsie and Olly are unique names and Tyler is not, so it won't feel right. So he wants an ordinary name. Please help with something unique but ordinary.
Baby Name Genie:
In the space between unique and ordinary is a special category of names I think of as "antiques." They are familiar and well-used names that are not widely in use these days. For your son, I give you Oscar Jude - a perfectly ordinary, unique name.
