Finn vs. for a girl?

My husband has come up with the name Finn. We are having a daughter and we were going to name her Sasha, but he has fallen madly in love with the name Finn what do you think? She will be joining brother Avery Jack and sister Ivy Francis.

since you know Ivy is a girl name I would go with Flynn, more girlish but strong

You could name her Finley and call her Finn, Finley is just a bit more feminine

I would stick with Sasha, it’s such a pretty name!
I do know a female Finlay so would probably use this and have Finn as a nn

I suggest Fiona nn Fin - it goes so well with Ivy and is so pretty!

I wouldn’t do Finn for a girl. Especially with Ivy for a sister - I don’t think that’s fair! Ivy is SUCH a beautiful name and Finn is definitely masculine. Here are some ideas for you:
Serafina/Serafine nn Fin
Delfine nn Fin
Josefine nn Fin

Francesca Isabel Naomi (F.I.N.)
Felicity Ida Nadine
Freya Imogen Natasha
(etc.)

Best of luck! I especially like Fiona with your sibset.

NO it is far too boyish.
You already have a unisex name for your son to use this for your daughter will confuse things even more imo!
Why not Ffion the pretty Welsh girl’s name instead ?

I don’t get the appeal of this name. All I can think of is the word "fin".

Awful for a girl, stick with Sasha (was he wishing for a boy - sure seems like it).

Absolutely not, and Finley is just as masculine imo neither are ok for female even as a nickname. Agree with the above poster, was he wanting a boy?

Please stick with Sasha. Sasha is a beautiful name for a girl, just as Ivy is.
