Miriam nn Mia Rose vs. Miriam nn Mia Elise

Hi my name is Cecile and my husband is David. We are adopting a little girl, and are on our way to see her! She was born very early this morning, at only 26 weeks! Her parents had planned to put her up for adoption anyway, but didnt expect her to come so early! We are going to name her Miriam nn Mia... But we cant agree on a middle name! It will either be Rose or Elise. Her older sisters are Evelyn Claire (Eva) age 2, and Cloetta Grace (Chloe) age 16 months. Thanks for your help and please pray for Mia!! ~Cecile, David, Evelyn, Cloetta & Miriam

I know they say its a "filler" middle name but I really love the sound of Rose with her name. Plus her other siblings have one syllable middle names so it seems to fit in better. I have always loved the name Elise but for some reason in this case I think Rose just works better... ya i like the sound of Miriam Rose especially like Mia Rose.. wish it was my name!

in addition to why I think Rose is good for her because she is delicate and beautiful like a rose right now and you will be bringing her home soon to brighten up your world! (:

I think Rose as a middle name for Miriam is really predictable and a little boring, and it also makes the name maybe a tiny bit TOO ’vintage’ (not really a good thing for a little girl). Miriam Elise however is sooo beautiful! I think the middle name Elise adds some spark to her name that, even though her first name is fairly ’old fashioned’ Elise somewhat modernises it, in a way that it makes it so sweet for a little girl, but it will also definitely age well! (Hope this all made sense?) :D Good luck!!

Why not just Mia Rose if you are going to call her that anyway.
