Elise vs. Vivienne

HELP! Which is your favorite?!?!? Baby due in a couple months! What middle names would you put with these? We are thinking maybe Victoria for Elise, something 3 syllables, and probably something short for Vivienne. Thanks!

Vivienne if you’re saying it the French way (viv-ee-ENN). Otherwise Elise. Or Vivian if you want the English pronunciation.

We would pronounce it Viv-ee-enn. It seems everyone is torn almost halfway between first names! Such a hard decision . . . .

Keep saying the names to yourself and put in them in sentences - maybe one will feel more natural. They are both nice names so you can’t really go wrong. Vivienne is more elegant if that’s what you are going for but Elise is cuter so depends what you are after really.

Elise is so classic and underused. I LOVE it!!! Vivienne is increasing in popularity I think.
